One Of Eight

One of Eight is a feature length documentary that I edited and co-produced with director Karin Kelly. I first joined the project in early 2008, and we had our premiere screening for our IndieGoGO supporters in 2016. Over the course of many years, we followed Karin's brother Rick as he and his family tried to deal with his worsening severe OCD. The film explores what it is like to love someone with a serious mental illness and how one extended family strives to find a balance between being supportive, enabling, and protecting their own individual family structures. The film is currently in festival submissions. Below is a trailer that we used for fundraising about mid-way through production.
